I was hit by a very strong sense of filial piety to go home and celebrate Christmas and New Year with Super T's Lola Nay and Lolo Tay a week before Christmas. The strong urge might be partly due to the fact that of all four siblings, I am the only one currently living close to them here in the Philippines, since one is on a ship probably floating somewhere in the Atlantic, and two are in Dubai. Regardless, I couldn't bear imagining Lola Nay and Lolo Tay celebrating Christmas and New Year by themselves, just the two of them at home.
