How to Get Free Parking at Walter Mart / Parking Rates

Did you know Walter Mart gives free parking for their grocery shoppers?!

Sadly we didn't. 😥 Not until after several months of buying groceries there anyway. Daddy A and I were pleasantly surprised the first time we learned about the free parking. So now I'm making it my life's mission to disseminate the information. Lol.

They only have one requirement, which is, your grocery receipt must be at least 800php worth. In our case, this amount is just about one box of Super T's milk supply. So when we drop by Walter Mart for anything other than groceries, we go ahead and buy a box of Super T's milk since we are constantly running out of it anyway. #mainfoodgroup #pickyeater #bigmommysigh

So here's the procedure on how to get your free parking from Walter Mart:

1. Make sure you have at least 800php worth of groceries from the supermarket.

2. Bring your receipt to the customer service center at the left side (facing the supermarket) just outside the supermarket and tell them you want to have your receipt validated for parking. Once they check your receipt, they will stamp it with a "parking" stamp, return it to you, and give you your free parking ticket.

3. Give your parking ticket to the parking attendant when you exit. Free parking is only for two hours. You have to pay anything in excess of two hours.

Related note: Walter Mart doesn't charge for parking when you exit within 15mins from entry.
